Michelbook Country Club is located in McMinnville, Oregon, in the heart of Willamette Valley. We are fortunate to be in the heart of the area known for beautiful vineyards and outstanding Oregon wines. Well over 100 wineries and tasting rooms are located within 30 minutes of McMinnville. Just 45 minutes south of Portland and 30 minutes north of Salem, our location offers easy access to all the best Oregon has to offer. Michelbook is only 45 minutes from Lincoln City and the Oregon Coast. Heading east, Mount Hood, Bend and the Cascades are also within easy driving range. The city of McMinnville is a quaint, historic and active community. Third Street is the old downtown area with hotels, restaurants and many shopping options.

We are fortunate to be located in the northern end Willamette Valley in the heart of the area known for beautiful vineyards and outstanding Oregon wines.
The Golf Club
Our Golf Club opened with 9 holes in 1964. In the mid-1980s, a second nine holes was added and a portion of the original nine was remodeled. As we celebrate over 50 years of operations, we are proud to be the only private club in our area. Today, our 18-hole golf course features 5 par 3s and 5 par 5s with a Par of 72. Although not long on the scorecard, with a yardage of 6,572, it is a course that demands some control off the tee as many of the holes have large redwood, cedar and oak trees plus a few strategically placed water hazards that can come into play quickly. Our course is famous for having some of the best putting surfaces in our area as our greens are typically fast and firm. We host several events each year for the Oregon Golf Association including our Michelbook Junior Classic. Beyond golf, we offer a fully stocked Golf Shop and a popular Food and Beverage operation in our Clubhouse.
Practice Facility
Michelbook is a private club offering a beautiful, 18-hole 6,550 yard, par 72 championship golf course. The course features 5 par 5 holes and 5 par 3s. It is generally tree lined and well bunkered. We are known for having some of the best putting surfaces in our area that offer fast and firm playing conditions. We also offer 5 sets of tees to suit any playing ability. Golf amenities include a driving range, short game practice area and a large putting green.

The restaurant's uniquely Northwest atmosphere and forested sunset views provide the perfect setting for a casual lunch with friends or a dinner to remember. Hotel Information

You're welcomed into the ever-popular Pub on the main floor, and can work your way up to the Rooftop Bar for a breathtaking 360-degree look at the region. Catch a free, live music show in the Cellar Bar or Mattie's Room. Artwork, photographs and architectural wall hangings inspire thoughts of the past as you pop into the bistro-style Cellar Bar.
Hotel Oregon has 42 guestrooms; the hotel's innermost rooms afford a view of the courtyard while the outer rooms look out over McMinnville's often bustling main street. Tasting rooms are within walking distance, and more than 200 wineries are in the vicinity, allowing you the chance to pucker up for the perfect Oregon Pinot.
Today, as before, Hotel Oregon is the perfectplace to come for an overnight stay near the vineyards, a stopover on the way to the coast, or a golf school vacation

Students enjoy a lovely night out on the golf school.
