The Refuge Golf & Country Club
This par-72 6,704 yard course challenges and interests golfers of all capabilities. With undulant terrain throughout all 18 holes, the course design requires the use of all the clubs in your bag. The practice areas allows golf school students with opportunities to improve their games on a state-of-the-art practice facility. Memorable golf holes combined with gorgeous lake and serene mountain views create an experience that golf school studennts will never grow tired of at the Refuge Golf Course in Lake Havasu City, AZ.


Students will delight in the teaching of former PGA Tour Professional Golf Professional Dan Trumbull who has been teaching and playing professional golf for more than 35 years. He has played on the PGA tour, Mini Tour and in the US Open. Dan is passionate about teaching, young and old, beginner and advance students.


Golf School students are members for a day at this private country club. Each Member-for-a-Day package includes the following:

Dan and his wife Kris have owned property in Lake Havasu for 25 plus years and retired here 5 years ago.


He is an alumnus from the University of Oregon with a B.A. degree is philosophy,a two-time NCAA champion in Track and Field, and is an avid Duck fan!


Forty years ago, he joined the PGA and became a professional golfer, played inPGA events, US, Senior US Opens, and mini-tours. He has belonged to and worked for several private County Clubs in California and Oregon where he taught private and group lessons for years.


Dan is retired and enjoys sharing his experience with our golf school students, teaching golf and showing people how to have fun!
